Summer outdoor activities at the resort

In the summer you can explore the valley with its flower-covered ledges, verdant mountains and endless activities. Discover a range of water sports: rafting, hydrospeed, canyoning, airboat, canocraft, fishing. And if you prefer land-based activities, we offer mountain biking, climbing, via ferrata, treetop adventures, tennis, archery, hiking, horse riding, quad biking, golf practice, potholing, Nordic walking.  Or you could opt for intense sensations with aerial sports such as paragliding.

Ideally located 60km from Geneva, Annecy and Chamonix, the Neige et Roc chalets and studios here at Samoëns give you access to a wide range of activities. A charming ski resort, the Samoëns Valley offers a typical Alpine setting, and a listed “Village of Art and History”. Trails, waterfalls and chalets characterise this unique and unforgettable landscape.

The col de Joux Plane : At an altitude of 1,700m, with its lake, this is one of the mythical passes on the Tour de France thanks to its panoramic view of Mont Blanc. 

The Samoëns outdoor activity centre: just 5 minutes from our chalets and apartments, this centre will delight children and adults alike with its two lakes and adventure trail.

The Cirque du Fer à cheval: A semicircle of cliffs with 32 waterfalls.

The Cascade du Rouget waterfall: JGushing down 90 metres from two projections, this waterfall is known as the Queen of the Alps.
